This is a half-day introduction to setting up your website and social media from scratch.
Jake willl start with keeping your website safe & secure, and then move on to the practical steps of:
1. Registering a domain name
2. Setting up secure email
3. Using WordPress and looking at alternatives
4. Creating good, organic content
5. Streamlining the publishing process to social media, using Twitter as an example
This is a workshop for the lay-person, and is guaranteed code free! Jake will demonstrate registering a domain name, signing up for a WordPress.com account, Protonmail email and a Twitter account. Please bring a laptop and follow along if you wish (depending on Wi-fi connection).
