On Tuesday 21st March, the British Institute of Human Rights will be coming to Cardigan, Wales in partnership with Clynfyw Care Farm on their Human Rights Tour to hold a pop-up event.
The event aims to:
• Raise awareness about human rights and their relevance in everyday life
• Provide a space for debate and discussion

What happens on the day?
BIHR will provide a basic introduction to the law that protects our human rights in the UK. We explore how the Human Rights Act is not simply about courts, but relevant and real to us all in everyday life. Importantly, there will be an opportunity to engage in some of the important debates going on about the future of our human rights law.
Using a combination of presentations, interactive sessions, discussions (and creative activities!) these full day events provide a much-needed space to look together at the law, everyday practice and the portrayals of human rights.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
This event is part of our Human Rights Tour across all nations of the UK. To find out more about the Human Rights Tour 2017, including other locations, please visit BIHR’s Tour page here.
