A practical art course which will give participants the opportunity to explore how we see & interpret colour, the origins of pigments, how they are made & colour mixing techniques for different media including watercolour, coloured pencils, oil pastels & oil paint. Inspiration will be gained from other artists use of colour to interpret their world from nature, portraiture & abstraction. Demonstrations, handouts and individual advice will be given throughout.
