3 Sessions: 2nd February, 16th February & 2nd March 2018, 10am-4pm
Have fun experimenting with a variety of drawing, painting, mixed media & printmaking techniques for depicting the forms, textures, character & colours of a variety of woodland and wetland wildlife including birds, mammals & reptiles. Develop your observational and recording skills including mark making and sketching techniques which can be used for capturing the GISS of specimens seen on location as well as exploring illustrative & expressive approaches and a range of styles. The work of an inspiring variety of artists will also be studied and inspiration gained from fellow students as well as through demonstrations and individual advice and assistance from the tutor.
