Small World Theatre is appearing with Lord Rhys at A Celebration of Strata Florida on 15 July. This is the launch of the Strata Florida Project – a Strata Florida Trust, The National Library of Wales and Cadw partnership to welcome the presence of The Nanteos Cup to the Abbey.
There will be talks, tours, activities for families and performances. Entrance to the Abbey site is free for the whole weekend with event happening on Saturday and Sunday. Timings and more details can be found on the website www.strataflorida.org.uk
Small World Theatre’s giant puppet Lord Rhys is honoured guest at Strata Florida Abbey and grounds on 15 July 2017. His powerful presence and historical tales will delight families and visitors at a weekend of celebrations presented by Strata Florida Trust, Cadw and National Library Wales. There will be talks, tours, activities for families and performances to launch a new phase in the development of the Abbey.
Costume Making Workshops
Families are invited to immerse themselves in the history and culture of the site by taking part in all day costume making workshops and becoming characters from Abbey’s past. Entrance is free during the weekend.
