This session is for children and young people 8 – 18 years old with a physical disability.
An aerial session for young people with physical disabilities designed to be responsive to their individual needs. With a focus on sensory experience and creativity, we will work collaboratively with each participant, exploring traditional circus apparatus to find adaptations that allow everyone to explore being airborne in their own way.
There will be 3 members of staff working with 5 students. We would encourage parents/carers or support workers to stay and join in the session if the young person attending needs additional support. When registering, please give us a much information as possible about access needs to help us prepare and tailor the experience to the needs of the group. Thank you!
What to wear: comfortable form-fitting clothing that you feel comfortable to move in, including a top you can go upside down in without it falling over your face! Leg wear should cover the waist and backs of the knees. Please remove jewellery.
Winter of Wellbeing activities are funded by Welsh Government and coordinated by Ceredigion County Council.
